The evidence is clear that perfume ingredients or the fragrance chemicals found in various personal care products do affect mood and memory.  These chemical substances can also affect brain function (more than we bargain for!) resulting from the entry into our bodies via inhalation or absorption enabling it to cross the blood brain barrier.  The emotional effect may be a “quick pick me up” but can this also damage brain tissue?   

 

Neurotoxicity sounds anything but simple and sensual!  When toxic substances damage nerve tissue they disrupt and may also kill neurons within the brain.  At times this may affect additional areas of our nervous system.  

 

 

You may expect the likelihood of this to occur for a patient receiving chemotherapy or some other type of radiation treatment.  Individuals subjected to these forms of treatment rarely have any other alternatives. 

 

This form of treatment is not simply a matter of “personal choice” or an “instant pick me up” but an option for life or death.  Beneath the surface of wearing perfume, high profile celebrities, famous brand names & miraculous transforming type products, lay neurotoxins. 

 

Neurotoxins can be found in certain food additives & pesticides, cleaning products, beauty products, cosmetics, baby skincare and the list goes on and on!  That is an extremely frightening concept to many women, what about you?

 

Hopefully enough has been said to make you a little more aware that an available ladies perfume, in an elegant bottle or famous fragrance brand name does not mean it is safe to use.  Long term safety concerns do exist for the individual wearing perfume & the effect these perfume products may cause to others. 

 

 

Why are perfume fragrances still on our shelves & in so many popular personal and cleaning items, in addition to a bottle of perfume.  Why aren’t there Warning Labels?  Why weren’t we told before now? 

 

This perfume news or information is not designed to cause a panic but to raise the suspicion that profit often times comes at the cost of health & safety.  Being unaware and trusting is not always the safest or healthiest option when it involves money; huge amounts of money!

 

Mums to be, existing mothers & those that have already raised children – Please do not fail to share what you now know with other loyal, trusting & unsuspecting women.   Someone has too!!
